BOYS BASKETBALL

The Varsity Boys Basketball team had the ultimate experience of playing in an NBA arena on Tuesday. The Lakers faced one of the top teams in Florida, Melbourne High School and their 6’11" center, at the Amway Center on the Orlando Magic home floor. While the Lakers were able to stick with them for much of the first half, Melbourne proved to be too strong in the second. Overall, the team had a great experience, and they were able to return that night to watch the Magic vs. Thunder game. On Friday, both the JV and Varsity teams played CFCA. The Varsity team fell short against the 2018 Final Four squad, while the JV team won their only game of the week in an overtime thriller!
