Cross Country is moving towards #GreaterThings!
The WPS Cross Country Team recently took advantage of a fast course and posted some of this season’s best times on Saturday! The Varsity Girls finished the day as one of the top-ranked Girls teams in District 10 due to some great performances. Mirabella Miranda led the way, running a scorching 21:06 which is a personal record. Following Mirabella was 7th grade stand-out Säde Latinen with a time of 22:34. 7th grader Madelyn Isbel also ran a personal record with a 27:54 finish. The Boys were paced by Lucas Dvorak with a personal record of 18:53 and Charlie Holden at 19:19, which is also a personal record. Last, but not least, Felipe Fernandes improved his 5K time by almost 3 minutes with a time of 25:49. The Lakers will be back in action this Wednesday at the Trinity Prep Invitational, which will serve as their last regular season competition. Go Lakers! #OneTeam # GreaterThings
