WPS also capitalized on their passing game, with Senior Will Seelman leading the way with 5 receptions for 84 yards and 2 touchdowns. Sophomore QB Kai Patterson would finish the day 9 of 16 for 174 yards and two touchdowns. Kai also struck on the ground on a 17 yard rushing touchdown.
The Laker defense would continue their dominance, holding Village School to 227 yards of total offense. WPS would hold the Vikings to just 3 of 12 on 3rd down while forcing 2 turnovers and racking up 8 sacks! Leading the way for the Laker D would be Ismael Cortes with 2 interceptions in the first quarter, Sophomore Mason Russell (7 tackles), Senior Ray Bhatta (6 tackles), and Senior Mitchell Darrow (6 tackles, 2 sacks).
