In an exciting game, the Lakers were behind 1-0 going into the half. After some halftime adjustments, the WPS boys varsity soccer team came out and dominated the second half. To start the second half scoring, Taher Gawad burst through the middle of the Legacy Charter defense and slotted a ball away in the corner, Ben Best provided the assist.

The second goal of the half came from a free kick on the edge of the box from Adres Del Villar, who put a beautiful shot that was destined for the back of the net. The final goal of the night for the Lakers came Florian Rodegra, who was set up on a corner kick by Patricio Guiot. Patricio set it up, and Florian knocked it in, just the way Coach Griffiths designed the play.
